Ipswich Museum
Wolsey Gallery at Christchurch Mansion reopened
After refurbishment of the gallery, Gainsborough paintings and the largest collection of Constable's paintings and drawings outside London have been rehung in splendour. All enhanced, until the end of June, by loaned items from the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Costumes at the Mansion - The Friends' Choice
After members requests some of the costume collection will be shown at Christchurch Mansion. Chosen and funded by the 'Friends' they will be added to over the Summer. We are promised Lady Munnings sumptuous ballgown worn to the Chelsea Arts Ball and decorated by Munnings himself and a wedding dress belonging to the sister of Benjamin Britten later in this centenary year. Call in and see the display unfold.
